Investigating the link between company value and underlying value drivers

This month our Senior Partner Jan Borko has successfully defended his postgraduate dissertation work at University in Northampton and has gained the title Master of Science – Accounting and Finance.

Within his dissertation the impact of key value drivers (revenue growth, operating margin, ROIC, WACC) on the company value is investigated, i.e. their impact on key valuation multiples which reflect company value. The research and statistical analysis is performed on the sample of biggest US retailers and interesting conclusions are drawn thereon. The research among others gives insight on how the companies should be managed to create value and future growth. Especiall, the importance of proper balance between revenue growth and return on capital is highlighted.
